Who writes the DUPGS blog?

Our editorial team writes the DUPGS blog — people who have either been through the process of finding PG accommodation in Delhi themselves, or who have spoken extensively to students and parents about their real experiences. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Our reviews and recommendations are based on what actually helps students, not what is most profitable for us.

How often do you publish new articles?

We aim to publish at least two new articles every week — one practical guide or tips piece, and one area or college spotlight. During peak admission season (July-August and January), we increase frequency to cover fresher-specific topics like PG safety checklists, first-month budgeting guides, and things to pack for a Delhi PG. Subscribe to our newsletter and you will never miss an article.

Can I suggest a topic for you to write about?

Absolutely. If there is a topic related to finding PG in Delhi, student life, or specific colleges and areas that you do not see covered on our blog, reach out via our contact page and tell us. We read every suggestion and prioritise topics that serve the widest number of students. Several of our most-read articles have come directly from student requests.

Do you publish sponsored posts or paid reviews?

Accepted Answer

We clearly label sponsored content when it appears, and it always goes through an editorial review to make sure it is genuinely useful to students — not just promotional fluff. We have rejected sponsored content in the past when it did not meet our standard for student value. Our editorial mission comes first, and our partnership arrangements do not compromise that.

I am a college society or student group. Can we contribute a guest post?

Yes, we welcome contributions from student groups and college societies. We offer a guest posting programme where we publish well-written, honest accounts of student life, college events, or practical guides written by students themselves.
