How do I list my PG on DUPGS?

Submit your PG via fill.dupgs.com — a multi-step form asking for basic details, amenities, pricing, photos and owner contact. Our team schedules a verification visit, photographs the property, validates amenities, and lists the approved PG publicly within 3-7 days. Listing fee is small one-time or annual; no per-tenant commission.

What does the DUPGS verification visit cover?

A DUPGS team member visits in person to: photograph rooms, common areas, entry and building exterior; confirm pricing, sharing density and deposit terms; validate amenities (Wi-Fi speed test, AC functionality, mess food if served); check safety baseline (CCTV recording, gated entry, fire safety basics); measure walking distance to nearest 3-5 DU colleges and metro; validate owner phone and address.

How does DUPGS benefit PG owners?

Three benefits: (1) direct access to DU student demand without brokers — keep 100% of the rent, pay DUPGS a small flat listing fee. (2) Verified listing badge attracts serious student tenants who convert faster. (3) Built-in filtering and search routes students to your PG if it matches their area, budget, college or amenity filters — no paid ads needed.

Can DUPGS help owners with tenant screening?

Partial — DUPGS routes interested students to your direct phone number. You handle tenant screening (college ID verification, parental consent forms, deposit negotiations). We do not collect deposits, sign leases, or stand in the transaction. This keeps our role lightweight and ensures owners stay in control of their own property decisions.

What if my PG doesn’t pass DUPGS verification?

We share specific feedback on what failed (missing CCTV, unverified amenities, price discrepancy, safety gaps). Most failures are fixable within a week or two. We re-verify after you address the issues, no repeat fee. Listings that repeatedly fail verification (structural safety issues, chronic misrepresentation) are permanently declined to maintain the verified-network integrity.

Can I update my listing after it goes live?

Yes — contact the DUPGS admin team to update rent, amenities, photos or availability. Major changes (new room configurations, price tier shift, ownership transfer) trigger a re-verification visit. Minor updates (phone number change, amenity additions) are same-day. This keeps every live DUPGS listing accurate in real time.
