What is DUPGS?
DUPGS is Delhi University’s dedicated PG discovery platform. We help students find verified, affordable paying guest (PG) accommodations near DU colleges. Unlike generic rental websites, DUPGS personally visits every PG before listing, lists only properties near DU colleges, and offers browse-by-area, budget and gender filters in one place. Zero broker fees for students.
How does DUPGS work?
DUPGS aggregates PG listings near Delhi University and organises them by college proximity, area, price range and amenities. Students browse, compare, view real photos, and contact PG owners directly through the platform — completely free. PG owners pay a small listing fee; students pay nothing. We verify every listing before it goes live.
How is DUPGS different from other PG providers in Delhi?
Unlike generic property portals, DUPGS is focused exclusively on Delhi University students. We list only curated and verified PG accommodations near DU colleges. Each listing includes real photos from our site visit, transparent pricing verified against the owner, confirmed amenities and proximity metrics to colleges and metro stations.
What does DUPGS verification actually check?
Our verification visit covers: real room photos (not stock images), confirmed pricing and deposit terms, amenity validation (Wi-Fi speed, AC working, meals served), safety baseline (CCTV, gated entry, warden, visitor register), walking distance to the nearest 3-5 DU colleges, and owner phone number validation. Listings that fail any check do not go live.
Is DUPGS free for students?
Yes — 100% free. Browse, shortlist, visit and contact PG owners free. There is no brokerage, no subscription, no hidden fee, no platform commission on the student side. DUPGS charges PG owners a small listing fee; students pay nothing. This is the core model.
